Welcome

Work is a central facet of modern life, and depressive disorders can significantly impact an individual’s ability to find, retain, and regain meaningful employment. This website is designed to increase understanding of these illnesses and identify strategies for creating supportive and positive workplace environments. Depressive illnesses are treatable. Programs focused on raising awareness and promoting early identification and effective treatment can improve both clinical and workplace outcomes, and help employees thrive at work.

News:

Four members of the Work is Therapeutic project theme - Drs. Margolis, Mezuk, Bohnert, and Zivin - will be attending the Michigan site of the 60 Summits Workability movement. At this summit the group will meet with representatives from labor unions, human resources, disability claims, persons with disabilities, and legal groups in an effort to improve disability policy in Michigan.
